About The Run
This is the first Fun Run jointly organised by the Malaysian Association for Cancer Research (MACR) and Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) as a call to the public to join the long-standing fight against cancer, alongside researchers striving to make discoveries that advance cancer care.

About MACR
MACR aspires to be the leading association in cancer research in Southeast Asia, as well as the cross-boundary platform for timely dissemination of cancer-related research.
About FRIM
FRIM is both a national heritage site and a globally recognised powerhouse of tropical forestry research.
Post-run activities will include FREE cancer screening from 10 AM to 1 PM.
The tests will be conducted by trained nurses:
a) Breast examination
b) Abdominal and pelvic ultrasound
Only 20 slots are available for each test and will be open to women aged 30-60 and available on a first-come-first-served basis. Please click here to pre-register.
Race kits for participants can be collected on 11 or 12 October 2024, as detailed below:

Please be informed that each vehicle entering FRIM on race day (13 October 2024, Sunday) will be subject to an entrance fee of RM5, payable at the entrance upon arrival. This fee applies to all vehicles and we kindly request your cooperation to ensure a smooth entry process.

Online Registration
Registration is open until 12 October 2024, but the T-shirt can only be obtained after the event.
Late registration before the run would not guarantee T-shirts in time for the run. In such situation, you’re allowed to wear any sports attire deemed appropriate to take part in the run.

- Participant’s Personal Data shall be used by the Organizer for the purpose of sending communication materials to the Participant, including but not limited to, direct mail, email, Short Messaging Service and/or telephone calls.
- The Organizer may disclose the Participant’s Personal Data, if required to do so by applicable laws or government regulations or by any authorized body or authority.
- The Organizer will not be responsible for any accident or mishap arising from non-disclosure of medical condition by the Participant. Participants are strongly advised to undergo a medical examination and/or consult their medical practitioner before registration and before the Event.
- The Organizer reserves the right to modify or substitute any rules and regulations of this Event from time to time as it deems fit. In the case of ambiguity in any provision, the Organizer shall have the power to interpret and in doing so, the Organizer will consider the interests of all affected Participants.
- Completion and submission of the online registration form confirms the Participant’s agreement to abide by the Organizer’s rules and regulations.
- Once the Participant’s registration has been properly processed, NO REFUND of participation fees for Participants who eventually do not take part in the event for whatever reason.
- The Organizer will not entertain or be responsible in any way for any disputes arising from incomplete or inaccurate entry details in the registration form.
- The Organizer will not be responsible for any loss and/or difficulties caused during your run/walk.
- Registration fees will not be refunded if the Event is cancelled due to force majeure i.e. caused by events beyond the control of the Organizer (including but not limited to haze, flood, pandemic, endemic, storm, rain), bad weather, wind, act of God, terrorism or other conditions) and which in the opinion of the Organizer, renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the Event.
- The Organizer reserves the right to use any photographs (including photographs of Participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the Event, for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising and distribution to the Organizer.
- The start and finish times are based on the category you register for.
